Victorian Crazy Quilt Squares, Lace, Ribbon and Pearls, 20-8inch blocks

A stunning, gorgeous set of quilt blocks. Each block will have ribbon, lace or pearls paired with beautiful satin and a motif embroidered on each block. 20 blocks with border makes a nice sized lap quilt. Two sets with borders makes a wonderful victorian era comforter. Will be adding more block samples as time permits The making of victorian crazy quilts was a winter past time in a by gone era. Favored fabrics were satin and velvet. Imagine the time and talent it took to hand stitch the intricate designs for each piece. The placement and color of the blocks will be random. Not necessarily as shown. Fabric is sewn onto a med weight cutaway stabilizer background block. I prefer to keep the stabilizer on the back of the blocks to securely hold the many stitches per block.This will make a colorful statement and take you back to a different time . .Optional, Each block can have a design embroidered onto the block. Placement and color of minky is random but if buyer prefers certain designs simply let seller know. More blocks will be added to set 2 as time premitsThese blocks are labor intensive so please be patient and allow 15 days for item to ship.
